It pays to shop around

Remember the days of SARS where there was a claim that green bean can cure/prevent the SARS infection? Now, we are faced with swine flu and thanks God that no one lay the same claim. But lately, we have been cooking this bean very often for "detoxification". However, I will not argue about this detoxification property as we cook them for eating pleasure.
But I do know about one thing. When SARS virus was in the air, this bean cost something like RM16 per kg or even more than that. Now, I notice that this bean cost between RM4.20 /kg to RM8/kg. The cheapest being at Bong Trading opposite KFC next to Public bank.
The moral of the story here is that it pays to shop around.

Uncle William, it would be great if you can publish where to shop and find good bargains in Miri based on your hands-on experience. That would help us to save some leg works (just kidding). Actually, we can donate more to charity and schools every year from the savings.

chchoo: I thought I always share those info, ie, where to shop! So, it would save you lot of money now.
By the way, are you coming back for holiday?

Uncle William, we went back in April but not able to drop by in Miri due to packed schedule. Will definitely meet up with you when I am back to Miri.
