Real beautiful roses ...

Yesterday's blog was "Roses ...." but I didn't really showed any roses. So, mummy was complaining that my title was not right! So, today, I make up for it. I hope you like the pictures of roses I took at Klaus and Elaine wedding...
No. 1
No. 2
No. 3
No. 4
No. 5
No. 6
No. 7
No. 8
Ok, if you don't mind, tell me which one you like. Thanks.
You may even put them on your computer wall paper. Just click on the rose you like, a higher resolution photo will be displayed. Right click on the image and "Save image as..." to save it to your local disk. Then open the image with Microsoft Paint and then "Save as wallpaper" or something like that. If you do save my images, I do appreciate it if you don't remove my watermark.

I like the 1st shot. You are a great photographer, so it seems odd to give advise. Nevertheless, sprinkling some water on the roses would have made great shots with some water droplets on the petals. Especially with a macro lens, you may be able to capture some reflection on the water droplet.

hahaha... Thanks and please do give constructive comment! I appreciate it. I fully agree with you. I think, I will start carrying a small water spray in future!

No 4 for me! Red roses are common. So I prefer something not red. And if I photograph flowers, I like to photograph them bottoms up. I dont mean upside down. I mean, shooting from a lower angle looking up. I find it nicer. But, I'm just an amateur, dont even have a dslr! lol.. Maybe roses cant be photographed from a lower angle as they stand straight up right. So what you've got there is very nice. Can be used for postcard! :)

Wenn, good!

Merryn: No 4 is my favorite too!

Very good idea/tip from you. I will try that next time. If I ever print postcard, I will let you know. But I actually plan to print calendar for charity sales.

My favourite's No 4 - just the rose against the blur background, simple yet attractive and the soothing colour of the rose makes it pleasant to the eye.
