Where are you?
For the last two days, I read in the newspaper on teenagers running away from home, kids was raped, 14 years old teenager being blackmail into sex and got herself pregnant. Then more teachers becoming the culprit.

Why?

From the story line, I concluded the following:
1. Lack of parental guidance
2. Lack of supervision by parents
3. Parents are too busy and forgot that their children has grown up.
4. Lack of communications in the family
5. Unkind words from the elders.
etc

My goodness... all seems to point to the parents. How about the children themselves?
1. Too trusting
2. Too naive
3. Too much freedom
4. "Haven't eaten enough salt" - contributed by Ivy
5. "Haven't seen enough sunlight" - contribute by Laing (actually same meaning as 4)
5. "Pakcik" syndrome (pakcik - so he shouldn't mean harm) - after discussion with friends
etc

What can parents do?
Get them to do work, give them responsibilities, assign them duties, eg, cooking the meal, sweep the floor, clear the garden, etc. Also teach them moral values, get them to know God.

So much spoken! Does the above make sense? Your opinion is welcomed.
