Chinese New Year 2011

It seems that 2011 Chinese New Year came a bit too early! Is this a sign of me getting old? A mathematician once said that as we grow older, the years also seems to pass by faster because it is relative. Example, at 10 years old, one calendar year represent 1/10 of one's life and at 50, one year is 1/50 of one's life! So, a year is very short if you are at 50. Anyway...
2011 Chinese New year is no different from previous year...
You cannot miss Lion dance. Although this is a Chinese culture, the lion dance troupe consists...
... people from all ethic group! This is a very good unity spirit! Chinese New Year is also a time for ...
... food. This year I got food poisoning and I have stomach pain for the last two days.
It is also a time for "open house" and visiting. Never mind whether you were invited or not, if you saw a politician house or someone of influence, just drop in. No one will chase anyone away as long as you don't create havoc!
For children, it is the best time to collect "Ang Pow"! Normally the host will give children ang pow, which contains a few ringgits. At one of the politician houses, I saw a group of kids who came by themselves to collect ang pow.
