Eastwood Valley Photo Competition Results

The results of the Eastwood Valley photo competition were announced this afternoon. All of us were surprised with the selection. One of the rules clearly specified "minimal post processing allowed". Just see the winning entry...
Even my youngest son said that this is a fake! The post processing was heavy!
These were the other winning entries.
Anyway, whatever is the result, it was quite fun to join the competition and see the works of others. Also good to see the other people's technique.
The overall winner is Eastwood Valley as they get to keep all the photos. The bonus for all participants is that Eastwood will give us credit when they use our photos. Good also. So, it is a win-win.
Forgot to mention, I got a consolation entry.

Yes, you are right! Hahaha....the judges may thought that it is something new or a special camera!

bad decision. and that's looks like a very bad hdr. the judges must be someone without the knowledge of photography.

RW Photography: Everyone say that. But I know one of the judges whose works used to be very good.

adduuuhhhh, what a terrible overcooked HDR :(

the 'fisheye?' ballroom looked nice, and i like the spiral stairs (badly distorted is cool)

but judging from the photo that won, i guess they are looking for something special, not exactly a kit lens photo.

i agree with mr toh, go for competition on other places, that pushes u to the limit of ur imagination. miri's competition has been dissapointing me over and over, look at every years competition the winner usually has the most unexpected photoes...
