Miri old town new shops

Everywhere, authorities are trying to preserve "old town". But in Miri, we are busy pulling down every single bit of the old town which was built of timber. So..

... After a couple of months, the new shops are taking shape. I would think that they are almost completed.
Note that scaffolding is made of steel. In the yesteryear, they were made from wood or even bamboo! However, safety conscious is still lacking! I think my legs would go "jelly" at that height.
