2008 Hari Raya
Time seems to pass faster as we grow older. 2007 Hari Raya was still fresh in our minds and 2008 Hari Raya is now over! This year Raya was like Chinese New Year. There were fire crackers and firework. Just that it was in a smaller scale! But food wise, there were simply plenty. As we visited our muslim friends, I could see that the mood never change. Forever, it is a time of celebration and happiness! This blog shows some of the delicacies served...

Kuih Muih ... ie, traditional cakes and finger food

They were very colourful and tasted good. Very rich in butter. Home made!

Curry is a must!

Special leh! Jerani's wife made a beautiful soup!

More food...

These were glutinous rice cooked in bamboo (top) and leaf wrapping. Very nice!

Taken a group photo with Jerani's family.

This is Norizan's family. His eldest son is now back in Miri. His hopes to study "International business studies"
