How passionate are you with your work?

In anything we do, the results shows how dedicated we are to carry out our duty. In my last 30+ years of working life, I came across many people who need constant "pushing" and encouragement. They seems to have no motivation at all. Example, when one part of the process chain breaks down, the whole process no longer works. This may have severe consequences to the company or causes severe delay to project. If there are such person, it is better to leave the job than to cause problem.
When coming to photography, it is my passion since I was very young. In the pre-75's, the retouching pencil and easel are the only tools to make any portrait nice. I don't like it (because it is very tedious) and hence, I asked my poor brother to do it all the time. Now, photography and Photoshop or image editing software are part and parcel of any final photo products. The result is either for better or for worse depending on the viewer. I came across a first prize winner and the sponsor simply refused to use the photo in their advertisement or printing for the simple reason that it is no longer real.
So, when I was commissioned to take a group photo, the normal venue was suddenly changed so that they can be more with nature. Worse is that the sun was shining brightly and there was hardly any good place to shoot so that the background is nice.
The first photo below is the original before editing. The steel structure is not very nice. The background is a little washout. So, this is when Photoshop comes useful.

 Before...
After editing...
You see the difference in the photo? If I have no passion in what I am doing, I would just print the original and blame it on the lousy venue! So, when you deliver your photos, does your client gives you a thumb-up?
Someone  called me "big event shooter" because I was involved in taking important big events for large companies in Miri. If you need my service, do not hesitate to call me. My fees is extremely reasonable. If the event is important enough to be recorded, you need someone who have good camera and equipment and most importantly, knows how to use them. Just call me on +6012 8782007.
