1Malaysia, 1 heart dinner at Eastwood 15-April-2011

Tonight SUPP 1Malaysia, 1Heart dinner was ...
... held at Eastwood Valley Golf Club in Miri...
... at the restaurant on the lake. There was a total of 500 tables but I saw quite a few empty tables.
Big prizes worth a total of RM40K consisting of large LCD TVs, etc were given away to lucky winners.
To top it up, everyone was served with food ...
... and free flow of drink, like beer. They were all sponsored by someone.
I estimated 3500 attendees.

Speeches by SUPP big gun... I have to say that he gave a good speech last night.

Sorry that I didn't manage to take any photo for the DAP side. I was caught in the traffic jam but I know that the crowd was just as big as ever with everyone braving the rain.

I found your blog by coincidence whilst browsing for greater info about life in Miri. I've browsed your entries relating to the city and found it helpful. We are a Franco-Malaysian family, currently in the Middle East and considering seriously about a move to Miri for my husband's job. It's very difficult to find detailed information on Miri online, especially from a personal perspective, though your entries have helped me picture a little bit about what life could be like for us over there. We need to gather as much info as we could to make our decision easier. I would love to contact you via email to find out more about this city. You seem to be very knowledgeable about the littlest of things and goings on in Miri which is absolutely great. I can't seem to find your email address on your blog though..

The neglect and unfair treatment of certain races' caused the different reaction to the ceramah held by BN and opposition.The problem is they NEVER and Wont learn.
