My condolences to the family
Novena Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer.
As your children, we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially ...(special intention).
We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your gentle care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help all of us, Holy Mother, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever.Amen.

William, very sad to hear this. Not sure Mr Sim was the same person who saw me @ NMSC 3 years back for special echo, his wife is a nurse @ Columbia Asia Miri?? Devout Roman Catholics.

Doc, I am not sure where his wife works. He is a devoted Christian. Probably a RC.

How I wish that particular newspaper had exercised a little more tact and diplomacy when publishing the pictures. There's no need to extend the family's pain and suffering, what more for their readers. Is there no privacy left in this world, even after one has died? This is a worrying trend amongst news dailies. They want to be the first for everything, with no serious thought for the next person. Its a shame really. I thank you for not showing the photos. May you have more "firsts". Bless you.

Anonymous: I agree with you. In fact, most newspaper publish those photos. But on my blog, you will not see those gross photos. However, at times, I may publish photos which may appear gross to someone, and if I receive any comment about it, I will have it removed.
