... we installed a water pump so that we have good water pressure during peak hours. Ah Jon was taking his shower half way through and the water suddenly stopped. So I went to investigate and realised that the water tank was empty! How come? So, I took the opportunity to get inside the tank and found ...
... that the water inlet stopper was jammed which prevented water from filling up. Also, the balloon had "dropped off" due to non usage for too long. On investigation, I found that the "system" was made of good quality brass. So...
... I used WD40 to loosen the parts and have it cleaned. So I only need to buy a new balloon and have the assembly fixed back. As for last night, I have the water tank cleaned and switch on "dripping mode" to fill up the tank with some water. That will be the mode of operation until I fix the "automatic water control system" in place. The mechanism is so simple and yet effective.

A plumber would have charged 50 ringgit for the visit and extras for the spare parts...your family is so lucky!!
yes, i agree with Sarawakiana. it is also not easy to get the services of a plumber if the job is too small
