it looks like some drainage blocking system used in old days to stop river water from flowing into a kampung in that area (there is a kampung in that area in the pass before the fire burn them down...)
its a dam (thats what the kampung folks describe it) and its located at along the miri bypass highway after passing thru or about to enter pujut padang kerbau.
